Following the recently completed VLRs of Izmir and Sultanbeyli, and most recently Karatay, Istanbul's Fatih district has also started its preparations for the 2022 reporting process.

The Albanian edition of ‘Training Program on Municipal Enterprises for Local Authorities’ organized by UNDP Istanbul International Center for Private Sector and Development (IICPSD) in cooperation with UCLG-MEWA took place online on November 23.


 VISIT OF THE FINNISH INSTITUTE IN THE MIDDLE EAST TO UCLG-MEWA

Finnish Institute in the Middle East (FIME) and a group of Finnish university students paid a visit to UCLG-MEWA on October 26, 2021, as part of a series of study visits that they were organizing for Finnish university students on Turkey’s foreign policy and international relations.


 WORKING VISIT FROM THE FOUNDER OF GREEN REFUGEES PROJECT TO UCLG-MEWA

Dr. Chaden Diyab, Founder of Green Refugees Project and certified coach and consultant for EU climate change and food security, paid a working visit to UCLG-MEWA on November 9, 2021 to explore cooperation possibilities with UCLG-MEWA regarding the Green Refugees Project.
