It is a great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 2nd Golden Adobe, Tehran Glocal Award for Urban Management, which will be held on October 31st, 2015, coinciding with the World Cities Day. This event will be hosted by Communication and International Affairs Center of Tehran Municipality with the collaboration of UN-Habitat, Metropolis and the other local academic and urban institutions.
It will gather the senior urban officials, presidents and representatives of international organizations from around the world with the objective of promoting citizens’ quality of life, expanding the international communication and interactions, improving the capabilities in the field of urban infrastructures and introducing and utilizing the experiences on implementation of top urban projects in the world.
It is expected that this event will lead to participation in the implementation of major urban projects and effective exchange of information and knowledge.
Our members who want to take part in this event with their best urban projects according to the criteria and indicators described in the attached brochure, should register in Golden Adobe formal website (www.tehrangoldenadobe.com) not later than 15 October 2015.
Up to three winning projects in each category will be awarded a trophy and a valuable prize according to the jury assessment.
Municipality of Tehran will cover the expenses of air ticket and accommodation of the honorable mayor and one accompanying person from each winner city during the ceremony.
