UCLG World Organization and UCLG-MEWA Section hold their Congresses (with elections) every three years, as per their Constitutions. In this context, local authorities that wish to host the UCLG-MEWA Congress, planned to be held in April/May 2016 are kindly requested to contact UCLG-MEWA General Coordinator (h.sukur@uclg-mewa.org , 0212 511 10 10/113), until 29 February 2016 .
In the UCLG-MEWA Congress; the UCLG-MEWA President UCLG-MEWA Co-Presidents (5), UCLG-MEWA Ombudsman, UCLG-MEWA Treasurer and the members of the governing bodies of UCLG World Organization and UCLG-MEWA Section will be determined.
After the applications are evaluated, UCLG-MEWA members will be informed through the UCLG-MEWA website and other means of communication.
