UCLG-MEWA visited Kocaeli City Council on 28 January 2016. The representatives of UCLG-MEWA were Salim Korkmaz, Coordinator of Relations with International Organizations, Handan BAYRAM, City Council Officer and Suna KARNAZ from the Hague Municipality of Holland of staff exchange program.
The meeting was hold with Abdullah KÖKTÜRK, the Chairman of City Council who provided information about their works.
The projects and activities about the City Councils within UCLG-MEWA were presented to Mr. KÖKTÜRK.
As a result, the parties discussed what can be done and what projects can be implemented under the joint work between UCLG-MEWA and City Councils, and agreed on developing better projects by showing more efforts.
