Mehmet Duman, UCLG-MEWA Secretary General, gathered with the students from the Yeni Dünya Foundation. The meeting took place at the UCLG-MEWA General Secretariat in Istanbul, Turkey on 19 March 2021. The Secretariat staff gave a general briefing on UCLG-MEWA and its current work.
After the presentation made by Salim Korkmaz, UCLG-MEWA General Coordinator, and Tolga Öztürk, Communication Coordinator, on the history of UCLG and UCLG-MEWA as well as on the current projects and activities of UCLG-MEWA, Mehmet Duman addressed the students on leadership and management. The visit, which aimed to educate Young Leaders, continued with the Q/A session. At the end of the meeting, Duman presented UCLG-MEWA’s publications to the students.
