United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia Section (UCLG-MEWA) Executive Bureau and Council Joint Meeting and the Global Taskforce on Migration (GTFM) End-of-Year Reflection Meeting will be held on Thursday, 11 November 2021 under the auspices of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality as UCLG-MEWA Co-President.y as UCLG-MEWA Co-President.

Forum was held under the auspices of Kütahya Municipality in Turkey on 5-8 October 2021.

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between UCLG-MEWA and Asian Mayors Forum (AMF) to providing a general framework in promoting the localization of the Urban Global Agendas and increasing the membership base of both organizations.

The Summit will send strong messages on the role of culture in development, and its programme will emphasize that culture is an integral part of sustainable cities and communities.
