The Presidency Meeting of the UCLG-MEWA Committee on Smart Cities & Urban Mobility (CSCUM) in collaboration with Gebze Municipality will be convened with the participation of the Members of the Presidency and relevant stakeholders on 22 January, online via Zoom.
The meeting will focus on reviewing the activities carried out during the 2022–2025 term of the Committee, discussing key priorities for the upcoming period, and addressing current trends in smart cities and urban mobility across the MEWA Region and worldwide.
Furthermore, the role of local governments in the development and implementation of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMP) will be discussed alongside low-carbon mobility solutions from a net-zero cities and smart city perspective. The meeting will also provide space for exchanging good practices from local governments.
