Executive Assistant Vacancy
The United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia Section (UCLG-MEWA) is seeking to recruit an Executive Assistant to join its team.
Qualifications
We are looking for a team member who has:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant to senior management,
- A university degree,
- Good command of English (Arabic language skills are considered an asset),
- Strong organizational and systematic working skills,
- No travel restrictions,
- Ability to adapt to flexible and periodically intensive working conditions,
- Proficiency in MS Office programs,
- Strong interpersonal skills,
- Excellent communication and presentation skills,
- Strong reporting abilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and follow up on the daily work schedule of the Secretary General, maintain their calendar/agenda in an organized and systematic manner, and communicate instructions to staff.
- Ensure the order and organization of meeting rooms; take notes during meetings and make the necessary preparations.
- Carry out and monitor filing and documentation processes.
- Organize and follow up on the manager’s domestic and international travel arrangements, including hotel and flight reservations and visa procedures.
- Manage telephone communications.
- Welcome guests, provide hospitality services, and photograph meetings when required.
- Ensure the cleanliness, order, and overall organization of the Secretary General’s office floor.
- Conduct English-Turkish correspondence and translations effectively when needed.
- Produce content and manage posts for the Secretary General’s social media accounts.
- Perform additional duties related to the position as assigned by management.
