We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 4th edition of the Age-Friendly Environments (AFE) Echo Programme, developed by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Federation on Ageing (IFA).
The programme brings together new and emerging leaders working on age-friendly cities and communities in a collaborative, live learning platform for sharing experience, discussing real-life cases, and developing practical solutions. Through five one-hour live sessions, participants will explore stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, implementation, and the monitoring and evaluation of age-friendly policies.
For local and regional governments, the programme offers a valuable opportunity to strengthen institutional capacity and translate age-friendly principles into inclusive policies, services and urban practices.
The program will be held online via Zoom, in English, from 28 September to 23 November 2026. As the sessions form a cumulative learning cycle, participants are expected to attend the entire program.
