We would like to share with you the opportunity to apply for the SDG Innovation Award 2026, jointly presented for the fifth time by the Senate of Economy Germany and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
The Award recognizes companies, municipalities, projects, and educational initiatives that contribute to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through innovative and impactful approaches.
Open to initiatives at both the national and international levels, the Award seeks to highlight solutions that demonstrate concrete results, innovation, scalability, and collaboration in support of sustainable and industrial development.
For local and regional governments and their networks, this is an opportunity to present innovative approaches to sustainable development, increase the international visibility of successful initiatives, connect with potential partners, and foster cooperation and knowledge exchange.

Consider submitting relevant projects, initiatives, or innovations from your municipality, region, or organization to the SDG Innovation Award 2026.
The deadline for applications is 9 October 2026. Given the short timeline, we recommend that interested members start preparing their applications as soon as possible.
