On July 29, 2024, an event titled “Inter-Institutional Cooperation Processes” was organized, hosted by the UCLG-MEWA General Secretariat in collaboration with the Istanbul Directorate of Employment and Career Beyoğlu Service Center (İŞKUR).
The event took place at the UCLG-MEWA General Secretariat. It aimed to establish collaboration within the framework of training programs organized by İŞKUR to maintain this collaboration periodically.
The meeting evaluated trainings provided by İŞKUR, such as career planning, image management, interview techniques, body language, CV preparation, and effective LinkedIn use. It was stated that various communities such as disadvantaged groups, migrants, women, and young people especially benefited from these trainings. Additionally, the importance of groups consisting of a maximum of 15 people was emphasized for the efficiency of the trainings.
İŞKUR’s Business Clubs Project has been initiated within the scope of European Union (EU) funds and is being continued by İŞKUR after the completion of the project.
As a result of this event, it was decided to organize a program in August at the UCLG-MEWA General Secretariat building. UCLG-MEWA volunteers and university students participating in youth programs will participate in the training program.
