Mehmet Duman, UCLG-MEWA Secretary General, visited Mr. Hasan Ünver, Mayor of Nevşehir, on 18 May 2017 in his office, together with Salim Korkmaz, Coordinator of International Relations, and Randa Alsabbagh, UCLG-MEWA Project Officer. Mayor Ünver expressed their pleasure as Nevşehir to be a part of UCLG-MEWA network and underlined that UCLG-MEWA holds a great importance at the global level.
The participants also discussed the preparatory works for I-Cities Regional Forum to take place in September 2017, in Nevşehir, Turkey.
After Nevşehir Municipality, the delegation also paid visits to Acıgöl Municipality, Uçhisar Municipality and Ürgüp Municipality.
