UCLG-MEWA convenes local government representatives at its Executive Bureau and Council Joint Meeting,
which will be hosted by Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality on October 23-24, 2024, and themed “Local Diplomacy: Building Urban Future.”
THEMATIC SESSIONS
Organized to foster inter-municipal cooperation on city diplomacy, smart cities and urban mobility over the
thematic sessions, and to contribute to the implementation of SDGs in the region, this notable event targets to accelerate the relations among local governments both at the regional and international levels.
The thematic sessions to be held within the scope of the meeting are as below;

· High-Level Urban Dialogue: Social Impact of the Global Agendas
· Voluntary Local Reviews (VLR): Monitoring Global Agendas
