The fourth UCLG Culture Summit will be organized on 9-11 September 2021 in Izmir, Turkey, and will count with an official virtual launch on 10 June 2021. Save these dates in your agenda!
The title of the Summit is: Culture: Shaping the Future. The UCLG Culture Summit is a unique global event. Mayors and local leaders, academics, activists, civil society organizations, cultural networks and key stakeholders involved in the global debate on culture and development will gather in Izmir to discuss the place of cultural policies for sustainable development. The Summit will send strong messages on the role of culture in development, and its programme will emphasize that culture is an integral part of sustainable cities and communities. The Summit promotes the sharing of experiences, innovations and policies from cities and territories across the world.
