Ahead of this significant conference, we would like to share with you that Conference Stakeholders’ accreditation is now open. As the facilitator of the Global Taskforce, UCLG will function as the umbrella organization for accreditations. Members who have not yet completed the accreditation process are kindly invited to complete this form by 23 October. The information collected will support the accreditation process and help us ensure effective coordination across the constituency ahead of the Conference. For coordination purposes, we kindly ask our members to inform UCLG-MEWA at ir@uclg-mewa.org once they have completed the form.
In this context, we would like to inform you that the Local and Regional Governments Forum has now been confirmed as part of the official program of the Conference and will take place on the second day, 9 December 2026, 13:00-15:00 GST. The Forum will provide a dedicated space for the local and regional government constituency to strengthen our collective advocacy and joint messaging towards the United Nations.
