We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for The International Award UCLG – Mexico City – Culture 21.
This year marks the 7th year of the award, which aims to strengthen cultural rights at the local level and promote innovative practices in sustainable development.
Applications will be considered in two categories:

City/Local or Regional Government Award
- Individual Award
Eligibility
All local and regional governments that are direct or indirect UCLG members are eligible to apply.
Scope
Applications must include applications that strengthen the role of culture in sustainable development, prioritize cultural rights, and focus on innovative cultural policies, programs or projects.
