The Presidency & Committee Meeting of the UCLG-MEWA Committee on Social Inclusion, hosted by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, will be held on 10 February in Ankara, with the participation of the Members of the Presidency and relevant stakeholders.
The meeting will focus on an overview of the Committee’s framework and key activities implemented during the 2022–2025 period, followed by an exchange on the draft working plan for 2025–2028 and potential cooperation opportunities among Committee members and partners.
In addition, the discussions will focus on the Committee’s draft strategic priorities and social inclusion within global agendas, highlighting the role of local and regional governments. The programme will also focus on the exchange of best-practice examples from local governments in the MEWA Region and will conclude with an open discussion session, allowing participants to share views, reflections, and recommendations for the upcoming period.
