As you know, the World Summit of Local and Regional Leaders – 8th UCLG Congress will be held from 22 to 25 June 2026 at the Palace of Arts and Culture, Tangier, Morocco.
UCLG-MEWA is pleased to announce that, with the initiative of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, a comprehensive congress travel program has been organized for participants. The program covers all arrangements from Istanbul onwards and includes the following:
- Round-trip flight from Istanbul (IST) to Casablanca (CMN) with Turkish Airlines (Economy class) – Departure: 21 June 2026 at 12:05, Arrival: 14:55; Return: 26 June 2026 at 16:50, Arrival in Istanbul: 23:30
- Airport and train station transfers (both directions)
- Round-trip high-speed train between Casablanca and Tangier (approx. 2 hours 17 minutes each way)
- High-speed train to hotel transfers (both directions)
- Group transfers between hotel and congress center
- 5 nights accommodation with breakfast included (single room) – two hotel options:
- Hilton Garden Inn Tangier City Center (4-star)
- Hilton Tangier (5-star)
- Congress participation fee
The total package price per person is 2,700 € for Hilton Garden Inn and 2,850 € for Hilton Tangier, inclusive of all services listed above.

Please note:
- Members who have already paid the UCLG Congress participation fee directly will have that amount deducted from the total package price.
- This program starts from Istanbul. Members from other MEWA region countries who wish to participate are kindly requested to arrange their own travel to Istanbul, from where all group services will commence.
