We are pleased to announce that the UCLG-MEWA Executive Bureau Meeting will take place in Niğde, Türkiye, from 20 to 22 April 2026.
This important gathering will bring together local government leaders, experts, and key stakeholders from across the MEWA region, providing a platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and cooperation. The program will include high-level dialogues, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and technical activities, all focused on advancing urban innovation and strengthening local governance.
The thematic focus of the event will cover key areas such as urban innovation and local leadership, climate change adaptation policies for water stress, urban innovation and smart cities as a new era for local governments, as well as urban innovation and entrepreneurship with its social, economic, and environmental dimensions, alongside discussions on the project cycle for local governments.
