Within the framework of its Urban Talks, UCLG-MEWA hosts various mayors, academics, and experts every month throughout 2024. At the talks held in June, July, and August, our guests addressed issues such as culture, transportation, social inclusion, and accessibility.

Being a part of UCLG-MEWA’s efforts to raise awareness about the cultural, social, and economic dimensions of local governance, Urban Talks are of great significance. These monthly talks, featuring diverse guests, offer a valuable platform for discussing the challenges faced by local authorities and exchanging effective solutions to address these issues. Through these dialogues, UCLG-MEWA aims to promote the exchange of knowledge among municipalities in the region and strengthen the capacity of local governments. The UCLG-MEWA Urban Talks will continue to foster regional collaboration and support sustainable city management throughout 2024.
